LABELLED is a multi-media experience by Humainologie that explores the impact of the labels we ascribe to ourselves and others on our identity and relationships. The LABELLED production includes a photography exhibit featuring 14 portraits of people who share their real stories about labels they have held and that may have defined, reduced, or wounded them. Three portraits are accompanied by short audio stories. LABELLED also features a seven-minute film by Humainologie.
Labelled questions the role of labels in our lives and, in particular, the way definition and judgment impact our identity, sense of self, and relationships.
The Labelled portrait series, audios, and film are integrated into our Labelled & Stereotypes Curricular Toolkit for students in grades 9-12. Humainologie is available to facilitate the delivery of the exhibit, audio stories, film, and selected curriculum at your venue.
